Meet Our Principal
Nora Gamboa has a Master of Arts degree in Accounting from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She has worked as an accountant, an internal auditor, and a controller for private companies and associations. For the past several years, she has had the role of technology and management consultant at the fifth largest accounting firm in the USA, assisting businesses set up and enhance their accounting systems, define their accounting needs, and design their financial reports and other reporting requirements. Through SmallBizBA, she continues to help companies and has dedicated her time to providing these services to small businesses and individuals. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Northern Virginia Community College in the Alexandria, Virginia campus, teaching accounting principles, computerized accounting, and cost accounting. Nora is a member of the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce in Fairfax, Virginia.
